Wow! It really works! And I was afraid because the pak is more than 12 months old!
I came up with a theory why it works out. It might be that the quick plugging and deplugging of the Battery Pak might trick out the so called memory effect of rechargeable batteries. So you kinda force an “overloading” or something like that (just a theory).
I wonder, does your Kit show a green light when it’s fully charged and how long can you use the batteries?

Can you help me, because I plug my Play and Charge in and the light is red and lets say when I press the guide button and it says I’m at 2 bars charge. Then I play for 3 hours with it plugged in and it doesn’t charge at all it just stays 2 bars. Its not the battery pack because I tried it with another controller and it doesn’t work either.

@MrSean1011 hello, if youre controller still aint working you might want to test a couple of things, maybe try it in another controller, or try the cable on a normal control that doesnt have a play and charge kit in the back.( this would be testing the wiring) if the controller is going from red to green straight away, i would give this another shot. (just trial and error)
