When I called Sony tech support. They said that all the xBox 360 & PS3 games are made & played in max 720p. The game disk package box may say 1080p but sony said that the only time you will see 1080 is in menus, stills, trailers or cut scenes in the game.. The game play is 720p. If you set the PS3 video output to 1080p then the PS3 will just do a up convert, like what happens when you play a standard def. dvd.

the game is supposed to look like the 50s but they hav been in the vault for a while after that so maybe the 21st century

its a alternative time-line, so its like if the culture and views of entertainment stayed the same, but they advanced technologically advanced in war and weapons but they didn’t want to change anything with TV or Radio, they though it was perfect as it is but they just focused on War, Now all this war caught up onto them and the world had a global nuclear war and stayed in vaults, this is where you come in and play the game to do certain stuff all sorts of stuff

also the music and theme from the 1950′s is just for the game’s atmosphere and has nothing to do with the setting or the storyline

you are born in vault 101 19 years before 2277 so when u turn 19 and leave the vault the year is 2277, 200 years after the bombs fell
